Mrs. Neagoe, who studied art at Cooper Union in New York and later in Paris in the 1920's, was author
of ''The Icon Maker'' and ''Passport.'' She is known for her abstract geometric paintings, and work as a
WPA artist. She lived and worked throughout her lifetime lasting 101 years.
